The Multi-Cultural Independent Living Center of Boston, Inc. board and staff advocate for disabled people in an ongoing effort to make policy, legislative and programmatic changes in areas such as housing, transportation, health care, social security benefits, employment and education.
At Multi-Cultural Independent Living Center of Boston, Inc. we train consumers in self-advocacy which empowers them to take charge of their own lives, how to contact public officials and political representatives, present their issues and make changes in our society that will help them lead more independent, productive lives.
